Spring Sample Sale and Dessert Party 4.5.2014!

We are delighted to be able to announce Cloudberry Lady sample sale dessert party!

4th of may is the time for lolitas gather together to celebrate spring with delicious desserts and to do some shopping with discount prices!

The event takes place in Wok'in in Hämeenlinna which is Cloudberry Lady's home town.
Doors will open at 14.30 and the event will last approximately 3 hours so you will have enough time to relax.

At the event you will:

- be able to buy Cloudberry Lady sample pieces with special prices and new un-seen products
- buy jewellery and home decor from the talented Kuusade and sketches from our lovely collaborator Imagine and Do
- get a chance to win wonderful items from Cloudberry Lady, Kuusade and Imagine and do in a bingo
- chat with other lolitas
- and enjoy plenty of delicious desserts

Menu:

Welcome drink (sparkling wine or freshly squeezed juice)
Tea and coffee
Macarons
Yoghurt icecream
Fruit sallad

There will be two types of tickets: 
Regular tickets are 15€, they include the menu above with one class of welcome drink.
CL lover tickets are 20€, they include the menu above, extra drink, extra  sheet on the bingo and a special Cloudberry Lady shopping bag.
Tickets can only be bought in advance. Ticket sales opens on monday 14.4.-14. and it will end 24.4.-14 so be fast to get yours!

If you are travelling to Hämeenlinna from some other city, we recommend taking a bus. Wok'in is conveniently located close to the bus station.

Lippuja voi ostaa vain ennakkoon, lipunmyynti avataan maanantaina 14.4.-14 ja päättyy 24.4. joten hanki oma lippusi ripeästi!

Jos saavut tapahtumaan muualta julkisilla kulkuneuvoilla suosittelemme linja-autoa, sillä Wok'in sijaitsee aivan bussiaseman läheisyydessä.

There is only a very limited number of tickets available!

HelloCon 2014

HelloCon 2014 was held 1st of February and ofcourse we had to participate! :3
I was also part of the organisation team so I can not tell much of the actual convention since I was just running around like crazy the whole day.

At the convention we had a stand and we took part to the designers fashion show.

The outfits we presented were inspired by reneissance. Knowing Midori Fukasawa would be modelling for us we really wanted to greate something different. Also we didn't want to use a print this time, so I came up with this design. For some of the materials we had to travel to Estonia and making the outfits took a lots of work but I think it was worth the time and effort?

Shoes

One of new product lines we have added to our selection is shoes.
All of our shoes are handmade in Finland. Emma Tsurumoto is the gifted footwear designer behind our shoes.

The project starts with us discussin the new models and Emma finalizing the design. Then she looks for the right shoe lasts, rigth now we have a bit of problem with finding lasts but hopefully we will be able to order some full sets in the future. Next she grafts the patterns, cuts the leathers and sew the pieces together.

We have decided to use real leather on our shoes because it's durability is the best and it shapes to the wearers foot making it more comfortable to use.

 The shoes get their final shape from the shoe last.

For the heel we sometimes use leather sometimes ready made heels. The inner and outer of the shoe is almost always leather. As decoration we might use other materials as well.

We only make the sample pieces of each shoe model (except for the bow -shoes). Cloudberry Lady shoes are made to order. The sample pieces are made to showcase the design of the shoes or sometimes to be used in fashion shows. Eventually we will also sell the sample pieces of each model but they are always some random sizes. But really the point is that you can get any model in your own size and color of your own choise. (Well atleast as long we can find the last and leather to be used for your shoes.)

Uups, it has taken forever since the last blogpost! We have started to blog more on our tumblr blog but we'll keep this blog anyway. Hopefully from now on there will be more detailed posts in this blog so you will get to know what's happening with Cloudberry Lady. If you want to get updated fast the best way is to like us on fb.

So last time I wrote of our collaboration with Imagine and Do andI'm pretty sure most of you have already seen the results but here's few pics anyway because they are so lovely. Thanks to Sanni for taking the photos!

 

The collection Adella, Arista and Aquata consists of two dresses and two skirts, it's already nearly sold out, probably enough fabric for one more dress. The print was designed by Minna Ainoa, the talented designer behind Imagine and Do for Cloudberry Lady. Since the print is so gorgeus and it was so popular we have already been thinking of re-release. What do you think?

The hats and shoes on the pics are also ours! I'm very broud of these new product lines we have been able to introduce this past year.

 

First time we presented this collection at the Frock On! event in London.

Cloudberry Lady took part to the fashion show at the event and we were very lucky to get such a sweet models. Emma made the shoes to match the outfits so for the first time we really had the head to toe coordinations with Cloudberry Lady items (well the stockings were models own).

 

The event was quite a fun and it was nice to have a trip to London! ^^ We have been a bit out of the international eye but now we have started to take steps to be part of the international lolita scene. I was a bit nervous to participate such a big event in such a big city (I come from a town with no public transportation! ^^'), but everyone were really sweet and I made a lots of new friends. I was also happy to meet some of the ladies we met last time in Paris and I was happy to hear they still remembered us. <3

 

 Since the event was so much fun we decided to take part to the Enchanted event which is just behind the corner now! Hopefully we'll meet some of you there!

 

Seems like we have been travelling a lot lately, since we also participated the Innocent World teaparty in Vienna! We were so lucky to get a stand at this event since when I firts heard of it all the stand were already reserved. Luckily for someone cancelled and we got the stand. :)

 

I have been in Vienna once before and this time I planned to make the trip to be also a small holiday. My youngest sister was very eager to join me which was nice since I don't get time to hang out with her because of the distance.

The event was nicely organised and I was really pleased with how everything went.

It has been a long time since I last visited Vienna, that time I was starting out as lolita, so it was great to refresh memories and to meet lots of lolitas! And I got change to hang out with some of the sweet girls I met in London. :D

There's so many things to write about and lately I have been extremely busy! Cloudberry Lady was one of the main sponcors of HelloCon and I was part of the organisation team so that's one of the things that has been taking some of the time this past year. I will write a post of it soon but still waiting for more pictures of our lovely fashion show models. ;)
I was certain there would be more time after the convention was over but on the contrary there's just more work than ever, definitely not a bad thing but I hope I can find some time to write here. There's some really exiting news coming up soon if everything goes well! Keep your thumbs up for us!^^

Heippa!

Onpas viimeisestä bloggauksesta vierähtänyt paljon aikaa, haluaisin sanoa syyksi kiireisyyden uuden malliston, myyjäisten ja tilausten parissa, mutta taitaa se ihan oikea syy olla silti omassa päässä. ^^'

Cloudberry Lady ei tänä kesänä ollut mukana coneissa vaan tämän kesän (ja syksyn) myyjäiset on suunnattu muihin maihin. Cloudberry Lady oli mukana myyjänä Austen & the Abbey tapahtumassa ja seuraavaksi on luvassa Frock On! Ensimmäiseen tapahtumaan lähetimme myytäväksi paketin uusia herkkuja; kenkiä ja asusteita, mutta jälkimmäiseen osallistumme itsekin! Vielä hieman syksymmällä on tulossa kolmas mielenkiintoinen tapahtuma johon Cloudberry Lady ottaa osaa, nimittäin Innocent World Teapartyt! En osaa edes kuvailla miten iloinen olin saadessani tietää Cloudberry Ladyn pääsevän mukaan varasijoilta. :)

Frock On! on vain parin viikon päässä ja aika kuluu hurjan työnteon touhussa. Cloudberry Ladylla on tapahtumassa myyntipöytä ja osallistumme myös muotinäytökseen. Näytöksessä esitellään Cloudberry Ladyn ihan uusi mallisto joka on tehty yhteistyössä ihastuttavan Imagine And Do:n kanssa ja mallistoon kuuluu myös Emma Tsurumoton tekemiä jalkineita! Näppärä silmäisimmät voivat bongata Imagine And Do:n sivuilta osviittaa uudesta mallitosta, nimittäin malliston lisäksi yhteityön tuloksena löytyy Imagine And Do:n valikoimasta uudella printillämme varustettuja sketch kuvia! <3

Kovasti haluaisin paljastaa uuden malliston jo nyt mutta tämä kuva riittäköön.

This summer we have targeted our advertising abroad my taking part to different events. First we took part to the Austen & the Abbey event and next we are going to attend Frock On!
At the event we will have our own stand and we will present our brand new collection at the fashion show! We are also going to participate the Innocent World Teaparty which is super exciting too! :3

At the Frock On! fashion show we are extremely broud to present our brand new collection done in collaborations with the amazing Imagine And Do and Emma Tsurumoto! If you look carefully you will get a hint of our new collection at one of Imagine And Do's new sketch sets! ;)

Noniin, nyt on HelLo con sitten ohi!
Oli kyllä ihan mielettömän mahtava päivä, ohjelma oli mainiota ja väkeä tuli paikalle yli odotusten!

HelLo con was a awesome event with lots of high quality program and I had a superp day!
 A lots of people showed up which made me really happy. Our fashion show went well and the event was very succesfull in every way! Also the Lolita Complex concert was great! <3

HelLo Con!

HelLo again!

"HelLoCon on lauantaina 23.2.2013 Kulttuuriareena Glorialla Helsingissä ensimmäistä kertaa järjestettävä tapahtuma japanilaisen lolita-katumuodin harrastajille ja siitä kiinnostuneille.

Ohjelmassa on mm. muotinäytöksiä, työpajoja sekä luentoja. Tapahtumasta löytyy sekä myyntipöytiä että kirpputorialue, ja paikalla on edustettuna useita kotimaisia indiebrändejä. Tule tekemään löytöjä!

The band will have a concert after the event! :3

 Most of the program will be in Finnish,  but the numerous fashion shows and workshops suit to those who don’t know the language. Also the Q&A of Lolita Complex will be in english!
